Upcoming Highlands Ranch Events

The HRCA and the Highlands Ranch Cultural Affairs Association (CAA) provide a wide array of events to meet the diverse needs of the community. Special events increase the quality of life in Highlands Ranch, provide unique activities for families to participate in together, and create a sense of community. CAA events are funded in part by a grant from the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD) and provide the opportunity for Highlands Ranch residents to enjoy all forms of cultural experience without having to travel far from "home".

May - June Events

Annually, Highlands Ranch Lions Club joins the HRCA for the 9Health Fair; Colorado’s largest volunteer-driven, non-profit health fair and education program. Highlights include affordable biometric screenings and free health screenings.

A couple of times per year, one-of-a-kind pottery pieces handcrafted by Highlands Ranch artisans are for sale at Southridge. A great opportunity to find some beautiful items for your home or for a special gift.

The ever popular Taste is when beer and wine distributors bring a variety of drinks and local restaurants and bakeries prepare their best for sampling. There's also an outdoor beer garden with live music all evening and a silent auction which raises money for a non-profit charitable organization.

Twice a year, HRCA invites the public to properly and safely dispose of electronic components that contain materials that are very harmful to our environment.

 

HRCA partners with Denver Farmers’ Market to bring this exceptional market to Highlands Ranch residents on Sundays, May-October. The season starts with a plethora of sauces, pastas, flowers, breads, and more. A Street Market, in conjunction with the Farmers' market, brings various sundries.

Bring your family and friends and join in the fun at the Annual HRCA Mother’s Day 5K! Soak in the amazing views of the front range, Highlands Ranch Windmill and Highlands Ranch Mansion. Don’t miss the post race party filled with fun activities and inflatables for the kids and an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast!

The Highlands Ranch Cultural Affairs Association, and the Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOW) get little ones Hooked On Fishing! Experts from the DOW teach the art of angling and ecology. Poles and bait are provided. Kids keep the poles for future catches!

Live music, local and national breweries with unlimited one ounce samples, a souvenir tasting glass, and lawn games make for a great June day at Civic Green Park. Individual beer is also available for purchase.

A free, festive, family event with music featuring the best of local favorites. Food trucks set up, so come have dinner and listen to great music at these Thursday evening concerts in June and July. Performances are at Highlands Heritage Park.

The Highlands Ranch Cultural Affairs Association teams up with the Cutthroat Chapter of Trout Unlimited to teach ladies the art of fly fishing. There are classroom sessions and a field trip to Lake Lehow.

This series pairs FREE cultural performances, in May, June, and July with a beautiful outdoor setting at Civic Green Park. Bring a blanket, a picnic dinner, and your friends and family for a great evening.

A Father’s Day weekend tradition! It's a day of great cars, food, music,and more! The CAA Car Show features cars in categories such as Classic, European, Hot Rod, and Muscle cars. It’s an extraordinary exhibition and fun for all ages!
